children of the revolution

fy’s kids’ fashion editor kate van der hage is proud to launch our first ever competition. We want to give young people a platform to express themselves by telling us about the things that are the most important to them – and putting it on a t-shirt!

for ideas, here’s a selection of the best slogan t’s with a conscience, where brands are either raising awareness or supporting good causes with a donation:

dandy star donate to wwf, w.i.m.a.m.p donate to a program for preserving chimpanzees in senegal and the kindness co-op donate to youngminds – a mental health charity.

it’s easy! get an old vest, t-shirt or sweat shirt and a bunch of pens or paints and get creative! your child might be passionate about pandas, bees, clean water or equal rights. They may just want to spread some positivity and love. Perhaps they have something more political to say – whatever it is we want to know about it!

post a picture of them wearing their creation, follow us on instagram and tag us using #fytshirtcompetition. our favourite 5 will be invited to take part in a sustainable fashion photo shoot for fy in London*. remember to include your child’s age in your picture comment.

spread the word! tell your cousins, tell your swimming group, tell your class mates, get involved!

closing date 15th november 2019
